Debbie created her first outfit at age 12 out of her Aunt's old curtains.
Interior Design is a Passion for Debbie & after remodeling several homes they purchased a century stone home on 6 acres in need of TLC. She started an Interior Design business sewing drapes and upholstery items herself. She became a CKD and designed her own custom kitchen, which landed on the front cover of Century Home Magazine!
After 13 years they bought a 1950's bungalow on 3 acres in Paris, Ontario
As the designer/contractor she left her job to focus on this enormous task.
Debbie is also an avid collector, and has a Vintage Clothing business she calls 'Hey Mabel' after her Mother.
After a whirlwind few years of renovations, and personal setbacks, stress was wearing her down. She saw a picture of a Robert Tonner fashion doll on the internet and discovered that custom outfits were being made for these dolls, and artists were repainting them.
"I ordered a Brenda Starr doll and also bought one for my daughter Vanessa... The rest is history!"
We have both found what we were really meant to do... Play with dolls for the rest of our lives!"

BTW, I love the under skirt... it really adds to the wimshy and fun. Looks great on this doll.
